Steps in using the standby killer:
- First,place the standby killer in a position where it will be able to receive a signal from your remote control ;
- Second,plug the appliance with which remote control you wish to switch off the standby killer into the master socket.(Here we recommend you plug the TV set into the master socket);
- Third,plug any appliances that can make standby savings into the slave socket,such like digital set upbox,DVD,speakers,VCR etc;
- Fourth,Aim the remote control at the infrared sensor and press any botton on the remote control.A few seconds later,the status light will shine red,indicating that the remote control signal is received and the standby killer is power on;
- Fifth,switch on the TV at the mains and make sure it's on standby mode.Then turn on the TV to make it on normal play status;
- Sixth,to test the standby killer:Turn off your TV.The standby killer will cut off within 10 seconds automatically.And the other appliances will switched off too.So in the way to eliminate the standby power consumption.
