DESCRIPTION:
The product is light yellow to yellow clear liquid .
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
Pharmacodynamics
1.The product can promote growth, maintain the normal function of epithelial tissues. It participates in the synthesis of rhodopsin to enhance the sensitive ability of retina and many oxidation processes,especially that of unsaturated fatty acid. It is mainly used for the treatment of growth retardation,skeletal dysplasia,fertility decreasing,dry and coarse skin,keratomalacia and night blindness. Weak animals,female animals in pregnancy and lactation can increase the body resistance to infections.
2.The product can promote the metabolism of calcium and phosphorus and the skeleton growth. It is mainly used for the treatment of rickets rachitis and osteomalacia.
3. The product can promote the growth of gonad and impregnation and prevent abortion. It can also increase the resistance to disease and stress.
Pharmacokinetics
It absorbs easily both by taking orally and injection. It mainly stores in liver and excretes through bile. The bioavailability is above 95%. The bioavailability and absorption of young animals is higher and more complete than adult. It reaches the peak plasma concentration after injection for 6-8 hours. It's potency lasts 32-48 hours in the animal body.
INTERACTION:
Sodium hydroxide,liquid paraffin and neomycin may interfere it's absorption.
INDICATIONS:
The product is mainly used for the treatment of various diseases caused by vitamin A, VD, VE deficiency.
ADIMINISTRATION & DOSAGE:
Intramuscular injection: one single dosage
Horse,cattle 5-10 ml
Foal, calf,sheep,pig 2-4ml
Lamb,piglet 0.5-1 ml
Other animals according to veterinarian's advice.
ADVERSE REACTION:
If taken in too large of amounts, toxic symptoms, such as excitation,blurred vision,anorexia and vomiting, may occur.
PRECAUTIONS:
1.Only for intramuscular injection,the dosage should not exceed the recommended dosage.
2.Supplement calcium when using.
3.if adverse reactions occur, inject immediately epinephrine or other antihistamines.
WITHDRAWL TIME:
28 days,withdrawal period for milk 7 days.
