Graphite yarn,reinforced optionally by copper, nickel, cotton thread and glass fiber etc.,are woven into yarn by expanded graphite. Its diameter is between 1.5mm-5.0mm and it is used as braided packing material or temperature resistant anticorrosion material with both the characteristics of expanded graphite and graphite stuffing materials.
In order to manufacture different kinds of graphite yarns to be used for making different kinds of braided expanded graphite packing. The braided packing made of these expanded graphite yarns reinforced with different kinds of fibers and metal alloy wires, are suitable for sealing under different mediums,circumstance, temperature and pressure. Furthermore, for using these products under severely corrosive circumstance upon the demands of customers, inhibitors of corrosion can be added into the graphite yarns for making the properties of the graphite sealing parts more perfect.
