Stud type cam followers consist of a thick walled outer ring, a high tensile strength solid threaded stud and cage guided or full complement rolling elements. Stud type cam followers are supplied as standard with a crowned outside diameter to prevent edge loading. They are also available with a cylindrical outside diameter which is indicated by the suffix X (see note). These cam followers are easily secured in their application by the threaded stud.
Nuts, grease nipples, and dust caps are also available for use with stud type cam followers and should be requested when ordering if required.
