Urethral Clip

The product should be used under guidance of doctor and after the Instruction Manual being read carefully.

The outside of the male Urethral Clip (called urethral clip or penis clip) is an elastic clip with its inner side containing 3 pieces of medical silicon rubber cushions, 2 of which are at upper side and 1 at lower side, adopting a multiple clasp structure to prevent the outflow of urine effectively. This product is applicable for male patients suffer from urinary incontinence and urine dribbling after urination caused by injection of surface anesthetic inside urethra upon operations.

Ⅰ. Operating Principle

The product works to control urination by positive closing of urethra which makes the
uncontrolled urine fail to discharge by itself and in the meantime it will not close the penis blood vessel to keep normal blood flow to prevent harms to penis.

Ⅱ. Applicable Symptoms

1. Male Urine Incontinence
2. Injection of Surface Anesthetic inside Urethra
3. Drug Perfusion inside Urethra
4. Abnormal Urine Dribbling after Urination

Ⅲ. Contraindication

1. Those allergic to plastic or silicon rubber products.
2. Some of those Urethra and Penis Malformation
3. Urine Retention Patients

Ⅳ. Method of Application

1、Put the penis inside the Clip with the side of 2pcs silicon rubber cushion on top.
2. Move the Clip to the end of the penis.
3.Choose the clip level to fasten the clasp till satisfied.

Ⅴ. Notice

1. If there happen to be complications in course of application, please stop use and consult with doctor.

2. The degree of tightness of the Clip should be moderate. If too loose, there will be no effect. If too tight, it may injury penis. It should also be released (<3 hours)for unrination.

3. Do not get pubes and neighboring skin nipped.

4. If applied to a helpless patient, nursing staff should help to loosen the Clip at certain times for urination.

5. Never share the Clip with others. Please do not use the Clip if it ageing and deformation or out of validity.

6. Application to Minors is prohibited.

7. This products should be thrown into dustbin to ensure environmental protection.

Ⅵ. Adverse Effect

It may cause penis injury in case of too tightly used for a long time.

Ⅶ. Maintenance and Replacement

Maintenance: The Clip can be used repeatedly. To clean it with hot water or neutral soap water and then use 70-75% medical alcohol cotton ball to wipe it for disinfection.

Replacement: The Clip may lose elasticity after long time use and thus should normally be replaced after one month use.

Period of Validity: 2 years

Ⅷ. Transportation, Storage Conditions

The product should be protected from being heated and direct sunlight.

Storage temperature from -10℃—40℃, relative humidity ≤85%, and be put at place out of reach of children.
