Reusable Desiccant Protects Cargo from Moisture, Corrosion & Odors
One of the challenging problems encountered by manufacturers, distributors and shippers of many products is the harmful results of excessive moisture, condensation and odors during transit and storage. This can cause corrosion, mold, mildew, cross contamination and numerous other problems. The latter can result in damaged goods, lost revenues and poor reputation.
The MoistureSorb™ Moisture Absorbent Pouch was specially developed to solve this problem using a unique dual mechanism. Firstly, it absorbs excessive moisture from the air to lower the relative humidity thereby preventing corrosion and destroying mold and mildew. Secondly, it eliminates musty odors on contact without covering them up with fragrances and prevents cross contamination.
For a breath of fresh air, simply sprinkle MoistureSorb™ granules or powder in areas with excessive moisture and smell the difference. It may also be inserted in open containers and placed in the area to be treated. To rejuvenate periodically, simply heat in a microwave for 2-4 minutes or place in direct sunlight for a day and reuse. Replace when rejuvenation does not help.
