Applications:

Huawei will end the marketing of the SmartAX MA5300 (MA5300 for short) as of March 31, 2009. The purchase orders for the whole system and the new service requirements for the MA5300 will be regrettably declined by Huawei hereafter. However, the purchase orders for the spare parts of the xDSL service board for the purpose of capacity expansion and maintenance will still be accepted.

After the end of marketing (EOM) of the MA5300, Huawei will still guarantee the maintenance and service of the faulty parts of the MA5300. After the end of service and support (EOS) of the MA5300, the following services will be ended: technical support (onsite technical support, remote technical support, 800 hotline service), and spare part services (hardware maintenance and spare part replacement).

Huawei offers the following product, as a substitute for the MA5300, which has similar features and capacities with the MA5300, but has better performance in comparison with the MA5300.
