Automatic bloodletting line
This equipment is used for hoisting and conveying sheep, which have been stunned. Killing, bloodletting and other procedures will be finished on the line. This conveyor chain works circularly. This line applies to medium and large slaughtering and processing plants.
Remark: slaughtering and bleeding can also be finished in the hand push bleeding line.
The sheep or goats which are to be slaughtered should be selected from non-infected area, in a good health, with Origin quarantine certification issued by the animal epidemic prevention supervision institutions. Then related workers should count the quantity of the sheep and pat sheep enter to the waiting pens. The area of waiting pens are designed according to 0.6-0.8m2 each sheep.
Before slaughtering, sheep should be given plenty of water, good rest, without food supply, for about 12-24 hours. Three hours before slaughtering, operator should stop supplying water to sheep. In this way, it can eliminate tension and tiredness during transportation, and restore normal physiological state, thus helping to improve the meat quality. During observation time, inspector should look over regularly. If there is suspicious one, this sheep should be taken to the quarantine area. Healthy sheep should be washed cleanly before slaughtering. Pat sheep to the waiting pens in order.
