PDC-polycrystallinediamond compact is composed of polycrystalline diamond layer and tungstencarbide substrate. The polycrystalline diamond layer possesses extremely highhardness and abrasion resistance whereas the tungsten carbide substrate wouldgreatly improve the malleability and weld ability of the whole composite. Thepolycrystalline diamond compact is used in oil well drilling petroleum,geologyexploring,coalfield mining and mechanical processing industry.
