Glass bead blasting produces a clean, bright, satin finish, without dimensional change of the parts. Available in a wide range of sizes, glass beads are primarily used in blasting cabinets for honing, polishing, peening, blending, finishing, removing light burrs and cleaning most light foreign matter.
Glass beads abrasive with their hardness and spherical form can remove impurities and metal oxides without damaging the treated surface. Glass does not react chemically with other material so that the micro-beads do not create any corrosion on the treated surfaces with no deposits of foreign substances.
