1. Detailed description:
A crosshead is a mechanism used in largereciprocating engines to eliminate sideways pressure on the piston.The crossheadof mud pumb produced by our company is made of high quality wear resistant withspecial techniques.It features little deformation, higher precision and verylittle tolerance.
Crosshead and crosshead guide are made of ASTMA48-83 meehanite featuring god abrasion resistance and long service life.Besides F-500 mud pump that is cylindrical structure, upper and lower guidestructures are used for other mud pumps, so that the concentricity can beadjusted by adding space under the lower guide.Flange-bolts with pinhole fit areused for connecting crosshead to extension rod. This rigid connection ensuresthe concentricity of extension rod and crosshead. Coupling is used forconnecting extension rod to crosshead. Light coupling enables the extension rodand the crosshead to connect to each other with ease andreliablens.

3. Matters need attention:
In order to ensure close contact, the contact area of the taper hole of the crosshead andthe conical surface of the crosshead pin should be more tahn 75% of their total space.
