This machine is a large-size and heavy-duty gear shaper specially designed for cutting the rotating bearings used for the construction machinery, large and medium size speed reducers, mining machinery and wind-mill generating equipment, and the internal and external ring gears used for the national defense and military industries. Helical spur gears may also be accommodated on special request of the customer when a helical guide and a cutter with helical teeth are equipped.
Description:
1) This machine is a CNC gear shaper with 3-axis simultaneous controlled movements, which are the cutter spindle rotation (X-axis), the worktable rotation (Y-axis) and the radial feed of the worktable (Z-axis).
2) The reciprocating movements of the cutter spindle are driven by means of a powerful frequency-variable motor with the frequency-variable speed control. In order to ensure a sufficient cutting force of the cutter spindle, automatic and stepless speed regulation and auto speed changeover are possible.
3) A SIEMENS 802D-SL CNC control system or 840D CNC control system (optional) and a digital servo system is equipped on the machine. CNC control systems and servo systems of other brands are available on request.
4) The 2000mm diameter face plate on the worktable has a high loading capacity and is easy for mounting the workpiece and the cutter.
5) The cutter spindle can stop automatically at the up-stop position. This facilitates the rapid withdrawal of the workpiece after machining.
6) The oscillated cutter relieving mechanism is adopted for the cutter relieving, which is reset by means of a sauce spring and the cutter relieving direction is adjusted conveniently, so as to obtain the stable movements, a low noise-level and a high rigidity. The repeatability of cutter relieving ≤0.01mm.
7) The machine has a free-standing sealed electrical cabinet equipped with an air conditioner and a movable console for the easy operation.
8) A safety enclosure is equipped on the machine to prevent the oil from being splashed out and provide better viewing of the working conditions.
9) The machine adopts a large-volume oil cooling for the timely cutting heat dissipation and the stable accuracy. An automatic chip conveyor is available.
10) A riser and adaptors for different cutter diameters can be available on special request.
11) The accuracy of gears machined on this machine may reach Grade 6 of the GB Standard.
Main Features of Machine:
1) With an excellent integral rigidity, the structures of the machine bed and the column are fine and the static and dynamic rigidity is supreme, together with the stable performance and the sufficient power.
2) The reciprocating movements of the cutter spindle are performed by means of the up to date zero-degree large diameter worm, which is just the cutter spindle itself and provides the constant cutting force during the whole machining operation. The powerful oscillations of the segmental worm wheel drive the reciprocating movements of the cutter spindle.
3) The worktable is driven by means of a high precision, larger diameter ball screw to perform the radial feed and improve the repeatability.
4) The feed guideways are of high rigidity and fine guiding accuracy.
5) The large diameter worktable has a unique load relief device and it is especially suitable for cutting heavy-duty workpieces. Such a worktable may prolong the service life of the worm and worm wheel pair of the table.
6) The machine has an angular cutter relieving function in order to avoid interference between the cutter and the workpiece.
