Kammprofile gaskets Production
Kammprofile gaskets are used in many older seals since they have both a flexible nature and reliable performance. Kammprofiles work by having a solid corrugated core with a flexible covering layer. This arrangement allows for very high compression and an extremely tight seal along the ridges of the gasket. Since generally the graphite will fail instead of the metal core, Kammprofile can be repaired during later inactivity. Kammprofile has a high capital cost for most applications but this is countered by long life and increased reliability.

Style RS3-PN
Style RS3-PN Kammprofile gasket are selected for use in confined location,including male and female, tongue and groove, and recessed flange arrangements.
Style RS3-PN
Style RS3-ZG,Graphite or PTFE surface over grooved gasket with integral soilid outer ring. For nominal pipe size and pressure.
Style RS3-ZA
Style RS3-ZA is aslight variation of the Style RS-ZG. The integral outer ring is replaced by a loose fitting independent ring which is preferred where flange differential radial thermal expansionmay be encountered. These rings may also be spot welded.
