Usually hot dipped galvanized finished.Every barrier is fully hot dipped galvanized in a galvanized bath after welded.So not early to rust within at least 5years.
It is early to install and change,you can replace the barrier or add panles when needed.
Some customer prefer powder coating with reflective tape,it is good for road safety dauction,public event enclosure,or any temporary fence need.

2.hooks
Crowd control barriers are designed to be linked by male hook.A bend of the hook create a positive interlock which link the panels well.
Male hook is usually made of 5/8" steel rod.and recptor is usually made of 3/16" by 1.5" steel plate.they link the panels together.
