 Don't disturb the ice cream maker when it is operation.

 The shoot is removable from the main body by twisting it, but requires a bit of force to do so.

 AAfter it is removed from the main body, the shoot can be easily separated into its constitute parts (shoot, blender, cap, plastic cover) by unscrewing the cap attached to the shoot. 

 The plunger, shoot, cap, blender, and plastic cover are machine washable and should be washed after each use to retain hygiene.? The main body however is not machine washable and should only be cleaned with a damp cloth while the unit is not plugged in and also taking care to avoid the area around the plug as to not get any water inside the main body.
