1. What is the Fluorspar?
Fluorite or Fluorspar is a mineral composed of calcium fluoride (CaF2), the principal fluorine-bearing mineral. It occurs as cubic, isometric crystals and cleavable masses. When pure, it is colorless and transparent, or translucent with a glassy luster. Impurities cause color in the stone, and several varieties exhibit fluorescence. Usually found either in pure veins or associated with lead, silver, or zinc ores, it is common in limestone and dolomites.Under CaF2-97%, that fluorite powder usually from refine the tungsten ore tailings , fine powder , colour should be grey , offwhite , yellowish brown.

3. What can you do by fluorspar?
Calcium Fluorite has a wide variety of uses. The primary uses are in the ceramics. Metallurgical and chemical industries (ceramic and Flux in steel making/metallurgical. Hydrofluoric acid/ HF).however, other application (optical, lapidary and other )uses are also important.
⑴. Fluorspar for Ceramics Material
Much of this material is used in the manufacture of specialty glass, ceramics and enamelware. Fluorspar is used to make glazes and surface treatments that produce hard glossy surfaces, opalescent surfaces and a number of other appearances that make consumer glass objects more attractive or more durable.
⑵. Fluorspar for the Steel industry
Mainly used as a flux in the manufacture of steel in basic open hearth, basic converter and electric hearth in metallurgic industry. It can enhance the fluidity of slag and promote the entry of sulfa and phosphor into slag, thus improve the quality of steel. It can also be used in metallurgy of non-ferrous metal, welding material, optical elements, decoration of lamp sand lanterns and fluorspar carving craftwork.
⑶. Fluorspar for the welding industry
Steel is an alloy between iron and carbon. The conversion of iron ore into steel necessarily involves smelting the ore, along with coke, in a blast furnace. Refineries add a "flux" to iron ore and coke mixtures to lower the melting temperature. This lowers the operating temperature of the furnace, thereby reducing energy consumption and production costs. The flux also aids in the formation of the "slag" on the surface of the molten steel that contains most of the impurities.
⑷. Fluorspar for the chemical and aluminium industries
It is used mainly in the chemical industry to manufacture hydrofluoric acid (HF). The HF is then used to manufacture a variety of products which include: fluorocarbon chemicals, foam blowing agents, refrigerants and a variety of fluorite chemicals. Calcium Fluorite serves as one of the raw materials in the production of hydrofluoric acid and hydrofluoric acid production accounts for most of the fluorite consumed in the United States each year. Hydrofluoric acid, in turn, serves as a key component in the manufacture of numerous important compounds. Hydrofluoric acid also serves as the precursor to fluorosilicic acid, the primary source of fluoride in municipal water supplies, and to sodium fluoride, the fluoride component in many toothpastes.
