Application of magnetic separator
The Magnetic Separator is available in cyclic design with vessel whose diameters are smaller than 3mm.Magnetic Separator is a kind of efficient equipment for processing fine, feebly magnetic minerals, such as hematite, limonite, wolfram, limonite, and tantalum-niobium, etc. In recent years, it is also more and more applied in purifying quartz, feldspar and nephrite. Its magnetic system is a ring-shape chain closed magnetic circuit with energizing coils made of copper tube and cooled internally by water. Grooved plates made of magnetic conductive stainless steel are used as magnetic matrix.
Magnetic separator are applied for mining, coal preparation plant and other occasions for iron, iron removal operations.The magnetic field distribution characteristics of this series devices is good for the recovery effect of fine powder, make the recovery rate of the magnetic minerals greatly improve .
Its magnetic system, using high quality ferrite material or compound is made with rare earth magnet and the average magnetic flux density of drum table is 100 ~ 600mT. According to user's needs , providing downstream, semi-countercurrent, counterflow, and other magnetic separation of the different tables.

Operation of separator
When the raw materials flow into the tank body of the magnetic separator
1.firstly, the flowing direction of the raw materials is the same as the rotary direction of the magnetic drum, the iron magnetite materials are attracted to the surface of drum. This is the first separation.
2.In the second step, the flushing water below flush the raw materials back is the second separation.
3.This time the flowing direction of the raw materials is opposite to the rotary direction of the magnetic drum. Then along with the rotation of drum, the iron magnetite materials on the surface of drum will finally leave the magnetic field and fall in the ore concentrate box under the effect of gravity.
4.the flushing water above helps to flush the iron magnetite into the ore concentrate box. The weak magnetic and non-magnetic materials can not be attracted and will flow to the discharge pipe as tailings.
