Rotary Cooler Application
A Rotary Cooler is regularly used for cooling fine chemical materials in building material production, metallurgic and chemical industries, cement production lines, and compound fertilizer production lines, and more. It is usually used to be matched with rotary kiln and rotary drier as the complete production plant. It is applicable for cooling materials like slag, limestone, coal powder, and clay, etc.

Rotary Cooler Work Principle
The direct air swept rotary cooler design consists of a rotating cylinder with lifting board. This cooler brings hot product contact with cooling medium directly in a countercurrent flow configuration. The cooling medium may be ambient air, cooled air or special gases.
Recycle Usage
If the material to be cooled is at an extremely high temperature, the feed end of cooler can be refractory lined or fabricated by high temperature alloys. Used in series with a direct fired rotary dryer or rotary kiln, the hot air leaving the cooler can serve as preheated secondary combustion air, that reduce fuel usage.
