One-component silicone sealant (single-component silicone sealant) is a kind of material that is similar to ointment, and will solidify into a type of tough rubber solid once contacts the moisture in the air. It has excellent adhesion performance, such as very good bonding effect. And it is resistant to weather, anti-shaking, moistureproof and suitable for low and high temperature. One-component silicone sealant will not flow for the weight of itself, so it can be used in the joints of over top or the side wall and will not sag or flow away. What's more, it can realize strong adhesion to the most building materials. Therefore, its applicable value is very high. It is mainly used in the bonding of clean metal, glass, most wood that not contains grease, silicone resin, ceramic, natural and synthetic fiber.

Skin cure time: 5 - 20 minutes.

Using method:
Clean the surface by using some solvents, such as toluene or acetone, to get rid of the rust, oil or other dirt and keep the joint dry.
Cut the tip off cartridge, screw on nozzle, and cut the nozzle slantingly to desired size at the angle of 45°.
Push sealant ahead at the angle of 45°, and squeeze out the sealant through nozzle in order to keep the tape to be smooth (to glue in the ventilated environment).
If need to seal further within 5 days, clean off excess sealant with damp cloth before dry.
The sealant is fixed in 10 minutes, and it has some strength between 2 to 3 hours, and it is up to the maximum strength in 7 days.
Trim the overflowed sealant before it is cured to make a beautiful appearance.
Application:
It is mainly used for all general purpose sealing and bonding.
It is widely used in building, such as aluminum alloy doors and windows, plastic-steel doors and windows and indoors & outdoors installation.
It is also used in family decorations, for sealing and mending bathtubs, shower stalls, bathroom vanities, kitchen counters and so on.
What's more, it is used in sealing and repairing aquarium, auto windscreen, glazing for window panels and wood or metal frameworks bonding.
Besides, it is used in package and advertisement.
Limitation of usage:
Cannot be used as structural adhesive.
Unsuitable for all the materials that contain grease, plasticizer or solvent, for example the surface of oiled wood.
Unsuitable for unventilated places, for the sealant curing needing to absorb the moisture in the air.
Unsuitable for frosty or damp surface.
Unsuitable for the places of continuous water immersion.
Do not operate when the surface temperature of material is below 4°C or higher than 50°C.
Note:
Uncured silicone sealant cannot contact with the skin directly for too long. And if it enters your eyes inadvertently, wash your eyes immediately with plenty of water and visit a doctor if necessary.
There will be volatile substance released in the process of silicone sealant curing. And it will be harmful to health if you inhale the volatile substance of high concentrations for long time. Therefore, the workplace should be well-ventilated.
Put the silicone sealant out of the reach of children.
If the operation couldn't be finished in an hour since the first cleaning, please clean the surface again. And if any dirt is onto the surface again, please clean the surface once more as well.
If the air enters in the process of sealing, the adhesive effect would not be very good. So keep smooth and continuous during using the silicone sealant.
