INSTALLATION GUIDE
INSTALLING THE STARTER APP KIT (Alarm host, Door Sensor 1, Motion Sensor & Remote Control)
Your Finseen App alarm starter kit is ready for use as soon as you open the box. Follow the steps below:
1. Connect the alarm host to your Internet router using the RJ-45 / LAN cable (supplied in the box). Connect the power supply to the alarm host and plug it into the mains power socket. Turn on the backup battery with a pen tip in the groove on the back of the alarm host. Download the Finseen Alarm app for your smartphone / tablet.
2. Start the Finseen Alarm App on your Smartphone / Tablet.
3. The app has a boot sequence that should not be skipped during initial installation. Follow the instructions on the screen. Your ID and Code is on the rear of the alarm host. (You can always change the code / password under "Profile" in the app)
4. Enter your profile information such as name and email address. These are used if you need to restore your alarm if you or another user loser the code or smartphone.
5. Place the Motion sensor and door limit switch at appropriate places in the home. PLEASE NOTE: Unscrew / open the battery compartments in each device, remove the protective foil from the battery and reinsert it into the device to allow it to function. Switch the motion sensor on.
