The
quality of sugar is determined by a system devised by ICUMSA
(International Commission For Uniform Methods Of Sugar Analysis), which
is an international body that has sought to standardize the measurements
which are used to describe sugar. This is so that no matter where the
purchaser lives, or where the sugar source is located, an understanding
of the type and quality of the sugar can be gained simply by quoting a
rating, such as ICUMSA 45.
ICUMSA ratings are based on a test
which determines the precise scale of whiteness of the sugar, and
converts this to a numerical reading. Sugar is tested according to a
scale of whiteness. A simplified way of looking at ICUMSA ratings is to
say that the more white a sugar is, the more refined it is. According to
the Brazilian SGS method of testing, ICUMSA 45 sugar is the highest
quality sugar available on the market today.
Packaging & Shipping
In net 50 Kg (Fifty Kilograms) new polypropylene bags with polyethylene lining. The Bags have a combined tare of 100 grams and are sufficient to ensure the safe arrival of the product to destination port.
Tare weight shall be 160 grams, minimum. Uniformity of bagged net weight is of essence. Two percent (2%) Spare bags shall be supplied free of charge.

(2) Use by date and crop year
(3) Net weight
