Features of Wet Magnetic Separator
1. includes rotation type & stationary type
2. stationary type is mainly used in removing high magnetic mineral from non-magnetic minerals or separating high-magnetic minerals from fine particle in low-magnetic wet-type
3. rotary type is mainly used in dry-separation of fine particle & not low-magnetic minerals
4. high efficiency on damaging magnetic flocculation and improving high rich ore ratio
5. CTS is applicated for separating particle size≤6mm, CTN is applicated for separating particle size ≤0.6mm,CTB is applicated for separating particle size ≤1mm
Working Principle of wet magnetic separator
Fixed type is widely used for weak magnetic field, fine particle, strong magnetic material and wet type separation or removing strong magnetic materials from non-magnetic minerals. The strong magnetic minerals is absorbed on the drum surface when the slurry flow into magnetic field. Then weak magnetic and non-magnetic minerals was separated, which was discharged later. The strong magnetic minerals absorbed on the drum surface is taken out of magnetic field by the rotary drum.
Application of wet magnetic separator
It is situable for minerals for wet magnetic separator such as magnetite, pyrrhotine, roasted ore and ilmenite, and it is also used for iron-removal operation of minerals such as coal, nonmetalliferous ore and building materials.
