What is CSTR reactor ?
Compared with the conventional process , the CSTR process has another step , blending , with mixing the bacteria material and the zymogen completely in the reactor . And the active area is spread all over the reactor , so the efficiency of the CSTR reactor has more significantly improved . Feeding method of the reactor is continuous or semi – continuous at constant temperature . It is applied to the treatment of wastewater with high dencity and high suspended solid .
What is anaerobic digester ?
Anaerobic digester produces biogas, a methane-rich gas that can be used as a fuel , and digestate , a source of nutrients that can be used as a fertiliser. Increasingly AD is being used to make the most of our waste by turning it into renewable energy . For example in large dairies , it will accur odor and water pollution, anaerobic digestion reduces the odor and liquid waste disposal problems and produces a biogas fuel that can be used for process heating and/or electricity generation .
