Instruction:
This tool is designed for repairing stripped or damaged threads on spark plug seat.
1.Tap the hole & clean the seat
Remove the spark plug.
Install the step-tap with wrench and T-bar, then tap the damaged M14 hole thread to be M15.8.
Back the wrench and T-bar and step-tap.Place seat cutter over the step-tap shank, and place wrench & T-bar to completely clean up the seat.
2.Install the insert into the hole
Choose an insert with different length provided(L:15mm,9.4mm)
Apply glue on surface of the insert. Screw the insert onto the insert drive and into the hole.
3.Remove installer from hole
Release the upper hex nut and axle of insert drive, then back the tool from insert.
Use the M14×1.25mm tap into the insert, tap the thread again and clean up the glue inside.
