Magnetic system (two categories):
Loco: 300 Oe, 600 Oe; Hico: 2750 Oe
Loco is a more popular option for loyalty cards.
RFID system (three categories):
LF: 125 KHz; HF: 13.56 MHz; UHF: 860-960 MHz

As the loyalty card typically have barcode (serial number) and magnetic stripe (chip), it could be encoded to associate with each other. Encoding the same data of the barcode (serial number) into the magnetic stripe (chip). When you scan a card, the data in the magnetic stripe appears the same on the card.

A magnetic strip card is a type of card capable of storing data by modifying the magnetism of tiny iron-based magnetic particles on a band of magnetic material on the card. The magnetic stripe, sometimes called swipe card or magstripe, is read by swiping past a magnetic reading head. One of the most common application is used for access control system,such as hotel card and resort card.
