SUS304 Round Dissolved Air Flotation System Large For Waste Water Treatment Plant

 

 

Application:

 

1. Paper making white water treatment and fibre recovery
2. Physical treatment of industrial wastewater such as dyeing wastewater, chemical wastewater, light

    Industry wastewater,food wastewater and pharmaceutical waste.
3. Separation of water and biologic floccules in biotreatment (instead second setting tank)
4. Reuse of cooling water in production and water baths, other waste water treatment for separating the

    solid and liquid.

 

Features:

 

1.  The retention time is short, only 3 minutes are required.
2.  Super high surface load:180~200m3/m2/d.
3.  The water depth of air flotation basin is approximately 40cm, which will not change due to different

     handling capacity.
4.  The above-mentioned three features make the volume, area and height of our company's air flotation

     basin small and compact. Removal ratio for suspended solid is above 90-95%, after-treated

     concentration of suspended solid maintains 30-50mg/l.
5.  The unit weight of air flotation basin is light. It can be mounted on everywhere. When it is in-service use,

     the elevated installation can utilize its space as well as its after-treated clear water and scum more

     efficiently, the costs for design of sludge pump and motive power can be saved because of gravity

     action.
6.  The costs for stainless steel's manufacturing, operation and maintenance are low, and water-producing

     effect is ideal under the condition no medicament is added.

 

Operations:

 

Note: This procedure is applicable for the startup after the system is completely shut down.

  1. Close all discharge valves, especially the air dissolving tube and air floatation tank, close all sampling valves and air inlets.

  2. Confirm that the pressure relief valve (Globe Seat Valve) is at “OPEN” state, its aperture is 1-1/2 turn, and start the reflux pressure pump.

  3. Start the surrounding drive motor and inlet pump, adjust the speed, to make each turn is about 3-5 minutes.

  4. Adjust the pressure relief valve (Globe Seat Valve) to make the pressure of air dissolving tube maintain at 5.0kgf/cm2. Open the needle valve until the reading of ADT’s air flow meter is the designed reading, then inspect the pressure of air dissolving tube.

  5. Start the dosing metering pump.

  6. Control the liquid level to make the spiral scraper bucket just can scrape the floating sludge.

  7. The speed of drive motor can be set by accurate calculation or actual observation of the flow condition in tank, the clear water layer must be stationary.

  8. The level is determined by the thickness of floating sludge, low level causing high concentration of floating sludge, high level generating low concentration floating sludge. After hours of running, the thickness of scraped floating sludge can obtain a balance point.

  9. For removal of sediment, the discharge time is set according to the collected sediment amount.

  10. The compressed air must be added into the air dissolving tube.

Steps for normal startup

1. Check and determine that the setting of liquid level, feed valve, air and chemical agents are not adjusted

    after shutdown, all the discharge valves are closed, the preparation work before startup is completed.

    Start the air compressor.

2. Start the reflux pressure pump and drive motor.

3. Check whether the pressure of air dissolving tube is 5.0kgf/cm2, whether the treated water is clear at this

    moment. When the clarity is not enough, conduct inspection steps according to the after-mentioned “D”

    or the foregoing “D” of air dissolving system.

4. Start the dosing metering pump.

5. Start the inlet pump.

6. Before treatment of waste water, the clean water test run should be conducted first, and after the above

    mentioned startup steps are completed, then add waste water step by step.

 

Steps for shutdown

1. Close the inlet pump.

2. Close the dosing metering pump.

3. Close the drive motor.

4. Close the reflux pressure pump.

5. Close the sludge pump before the sludge storage tank reaches the low level.

6. Except when it is not operated for a long time or the whole tank is cleaned, there is no need to discharge

    the water in tank.

7. Close the air compressor.
