Triethylene glycol is a colorless odorless hygroscopic viscous liquid. With water, alcohol, propyl alcohol, benzene and other miscible. In addition, triethylene glycol passable dissolved ortho dichlorobenzene, phenol, nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate and dextrin, but insoluble in petroleum ether resin and grease.

Product use
1, Was used as a solvent for nitrocellulose, various resins, gums, rocket fuel, plasticizing agent and diesel additives, used for gas chromatography and organic synthesis. TEG is mainly used for air drying solvents, aromatic hydrocarbon extraction agent. Also used for printing ink, softening agent, moisturizing agent and air conditioning system of disinfectants.
2, As natural gas, oil field associated gas and carbon dioxide excellent dehydrating agent; excellent organic solvent; air sterilization agent; polyvinyl chloride, polyvinyl acetate resin, glass fibers and asbestos pressing plate of triethylene glycol lipids increase plasticizer etc. is also used to organic synthesis, such as production brake oil of high boiling point and good performance at low temperature.
