Introduction of the Downhole tester valve
The Downhole Tester valve is a full-opening, annulus pressure operated DST tool. With applied pressure, the tool can be locked open and then returned to the normal operating sequence at any time. This Downhole tester valve is the select tester valve, which has the capabilities of taking multiple downhole closures where pipe manipulation is restricted and a full opening string is desired. The select tester valve has the same basic features of the 15K LPR-N Tester valve and been improved.
