Huizhou Desay SV Automotive Co., Ltd., the previously Sino-German joint venture known as "Siemens VDO Automotive (Huizhou) Co., Ltd.", was established in November 1986. In April 2010, Desay acquired all the equity share of the foreign partner and thus Desay SV Automotive became a Desay holding company.
