APPLICATIONS
Uses: Household insecticide giving rapid knockdown against cockroaches and other crawling insects.
Formulation types: AE.
Compatibility: Incompatible with alkaline compounds.
 
MAMMALIAN TOXICOLOGY
Oral: Acute oral LD50 for male rats 1800, female rats 900 mg/kg.
Skin and eye: Acute percutaneous LD50 for male and female rats >2000 mg/kg. Non-irritating to skin and eyes (rabbits); not a skin sensitiser (guinea pigs).
Inhalation: LC50 (4 h) for male and female rats >1200 mg/m3.
NOEL: (13 w) for rats 100 mg/kg diet.
Toxicity class: EPA (formulation) III
 
ECOTOXICOLOGY
Birds: Dietary LC50 (8 d) for mallard ducks and bobwhite quail >5620 ppm.
Fish: LC50 (96 h) for rainbow trout 0.038, bluegill sunfish 0.07 ppm.
Daphnia: EC50 (48 h) 0.051 ppm.
