WeldMesh Gabions are available either Galfan coated or with Organic Polymercoating over galvanised wire. Service life for Organic Polymer coatedgabions is up to 120 years, depending on exposure conditions. Thestandard colour for Organic Polymer coated gabions is green while othercolours are available to special order. Galfan coated gabions on theother hand, will last up to 3-4 times longer than normal galvanising andis usually adequate for most normal applications.
Weld Mesh Gabions are considered to be moreaesthetically pleasing and they are also much quicker and cheaper toinstall than Woven MeshGabions.
