SXD-MAN B&W8L 32/40 engine is used as marine main proplusive power plant driving controllable pitch propeller through flexible coupling and gear box in a way of one engine and one propeller. Engine will be rigid-mounted against ship's foundation.
Mode--in line, four stroke, irreversible, direct injection, turbocharged, two stage air cooled, compressed air starting and dry sump, Turbocharger at the coupling end, atttached lube oil pump and attached HT cooling water pump.
