NEX Series Explosion-Proof High 3PH Induction Motors

General Descriptions:
NEHE series high efficiency three-phase induction motor(frame 143-449)are developed by BIMO INTERNATIONAL Co., Ltd in line with NEMA standard, which rating, mounting dimensions and electrical performances meet the requirements of latest NEMA standards, among which efficiency meet the requirements US EPACT laws&CSA C390, 1993 Standard. Measurement of efficiency and losses is per IEEE112B. These motors possess many remarkable features such as high efficiency and energy saving, low noise, little vibration, large margin of safety in temperature rise, popular shape, safe and reliable operation.
They are suitable for the applications without special requirements to drive various machinery and equipment. The maximum ambient temperature shall not exceed 40 celsius degree and altitude shall not exceed 3300ft (1000m)
NEHE series motors can also adopt NEMA Design C or D, Class H or B insulation, Various mounting or different voltage and frequency if required by customers.

Construction:
1, Stator
The complete winding and the stator core are vacuum-pressure-impregnated (VPI) treated to be a solid integral. This process enables the winding to have excellent electrical and mechanical properties, high moisture resistance and thermal stability.
2, Rotor
The cast aluminum rotor is fixed on the shaft by means of hot fit. The rotor is dynamically balanced to achieve little vibration.
3, Bearings
Shielded ball bearings are adopted for frame 143T~215T motors. And bearings open with covers are adopted for frame 254T~449T motors. Such motors are fitted with re-greasing nipples.
4, Conduit Box
The conduit box is on the central line for the enclosure. It can be F1/F2 convertible. The conduit box is made of cast iron. And the opening is of NPT threads. There are grounding bolts and connection diagram inside the conduit box.
5, Fan and Fan Cover
The fan is made of plastics or cast iron according to different usage.
The fan cover is made of steel sheet or cast iron according to different operating conditions.

NEX Series Explosion-proof Motors
For NEX Series Explosion-proof motors, the following contents shall be added:
A)One thermostat is equipped in the stator winding per phase which will trip at 145 celsius degree to protect the winding from burning
B)Explosion-proof features:
ClassI, Division1, Group C and D,
ClassII, Division I, Group E, F and G
Temperature code; T3C

1223731).
2. The efficiency is US DOE compliance certified with CC Number CC039A.
3. The efficiency is CSA certified with EEV Number 1223732.
4. NEX Explosion-proof motors were UL certified with UL file number E228654.
