Four cable Grab Bucket

Brief Introduction: it is mainly matched with bridge crane or gantry crane with two groups of lifting drums to grab various loose accumulations for the operation of load, unload, heap-transfering, feeding, and so on. According to the working environment and customers' request, it could be designed as toothed type, parallel crossbeam opened type, underwater working type, etc.

All cranes are equipped with two groups of electrical machinery drums (electric hoist), and two steel cables are led out of each drum, of which 2 cables form a group rooted upon two ends of grab balance frame as support, and the other group of steel cables pass along the pulley of upper crossbeam and lower crossbeam to form a pulley group for grab's opening and closing.

During operation, the support steel cable lifts the grab to a proper position, then release the opening and closing steel cable, here, the dead load near lower crossbeam forces the grab taking the shaft of lower crossbeam as center to open the grab, and the grab opens till the two otic placodes touch each, namely the grab has been open to the max limit. When opening the grab, the center distance between upper crossbeam pulley and lower crossbeam pulley will increase then the support steel cable fall down, make the opened grab to fall upon the loose accumulation, then, take the opening and closing steer cables, and recover the center distance between upper crossbeam pulley and lower crossbeam pulley, thus the material grabbing course is completed. After the closed grab is filled with materials, lift the opening and closing steel cable, and the whole grab will be lifted, move the grab by travelling crane to the place where materials are unloaded, open the grab to put down materials.
