We also do cladding of seals with Teflon (PTFE), Brass, Stainless Steel (SS) to reduce the impact of frictional forces. Teflon, because of its lowest coefficient of friction is the most favored cladding material. Normal thickness used for cladding is 1.6 mm for Brass & 1.0 mm for Teflon.
