Incoloy 925 wire mesh/screen is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum and copper. Incoloy alloy 925 wire mesh/Screen combines the high strength of a precipitation-hardenable alloy with the excellent corrosion resistance of Incoloy alloy 825 wire mesh.
Incoloy alloy 925 wire mesh/screen has outstanding resistance to general corrosion, pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking in many aqueous environments including those containing sulfides and chlorides. Used for surface and down-hole hardware in sour gas wells and for oil-production equipment.

Forming:
This alloy has good ductility and may be readily formed by all conventional methods. Because the alloy is stronger than regular steel it requires more powerful equipment to accomplish forming. Heavy-duty lubricants should be used during cold forming. It is essential to thoroughly clean the part of all traces of lubricant after forming as embrittlement of the alloy may occur at high temperatures if lubricant is left on.
Applications:
Incoloy 925 wire is used in various applications requiring a combination of high strength and corrosion resistance.
Incoloy 925 wire is used for down-hole and surface gas well components including tubular products, valves, hangers, landing nipples, tool joints and packers.
Incoloy alloy 925 wire is also useful for fasteners, marine and pump shafting and high-strength piping systems.
