1)Materials for ringsand rolling elements
While thecontact surfaces between thebearing rings and rolling elements are subjected torepeated heavy stress, theymust still maintain high rotational precission,therefore, the materials used forbearings rings and rolling elements requirethe followingcharacteristics:
●High rolling contact fatiguestrength
●Highhardness
●High wear resistance
●Highdimensionalstability
●High mechanical strength
The material usedby ourcompany is high carbon chromium bearings steel GCr15-GB/T18254 equivalentsuch asAISI 52100(USA), DIN 100Cr6(Germany) JIS SUJ2(Japan) and BS534A99(UK).
2)Materials for cages
The materialsfor cages must have strength to withstand rotation at load and shock load. Lowfrictional efficiency light weight and be able to withstand operationtemperature.
The material used in ribbon cages or crown cages is 08F orSPCC pressed.
It is chemical composition is shown for extra-high speedapplication. Plastic cages such as glass reinforced polymide areused.
These plastic crown have the advantages of low torque, long greaselefe and low noise, etc.
3) Vibration andnoise
●The measuring parameter of vibration adopted by RNB isthe vibration acceleration of vibration velocity.
● The measuring unitsand measuring method are specified by JB/T5314 and JB/T5313In the process ofmeasuring vibration strictly controlled noise by usingacoustics.
4)Internal clearance
Single row deepgroove ball bearings are manufactured with Normal radial internal clearance asstandard. Most of the bearings are also available with C3 radial internalclearance. Some of the bearings can also be supplied with a smaller C2 clearanceor the much greater C4 or C5 clearances. In addition, deep groove ball bearingsare available with reduced or displaced internal clearance ranges. These specialclearances may use reduced ranges of standard clearance classes or partitions ofadjacent classes, see designation suffix CN insection.
5)Tolerances
Single row deep groove ballbearings are manufactured as standard to normal tolerances.
Single rowdeep groove ball bearings are produced to higher precision than the ISO Normaltolerances. The dimensional accuracy corresponds to P6 tolerances, expect thewidth tolerance, which is considerably tighter and reduced to
-0/–60 μmfor bearings with outside diameter up to 110 mm
-0/–100 μm for largerbearings.
The running accuracy depend on the bearing size and correspondsto
- P5 tolerances for bearings up to a 52 mm outside diameter
- P6tolerances for bearings above 52 mm up to 110 mm outside diameter
- Normaltolerances for larger bearings.
For bearing arrangements whereaccuracy is a key operational factor, some SKF single row deep groove ballbearings are also available with accuracy completely to P6 or P5 tolerance classspecifications. The availability of these bearings should always be checkedbefore ordering.
