The Web server converter is named NP3000, it is used for network and between serial two-way transparent data transmission.
The NP3000 converter works between UDP/TCP and RS232/485, supports network data transmission. Generally, transmit data from PC(or other accessed into network equipments) to remote device, also the converter could transmit data from remote device to PC(or other accessed into network equipments) . As you see, it is not only be used in LAN, but also be used across gateway. The converter supports data transmission between RS232/485 and the Internet, also supports Modbus gateway data transmission .
Using the Web server converter, extend the transmission distance between network equipment and serial interface device; to realize the Internet operation across the gateway really; cross gateway Settings, more simply and quickly .
The NP3000 converter has multiple reliability design, more strong anti surge and anti-interference ability; otherwise, it is used high speed CPU and special card chip , these ensure that the system is stable and reliable.
Now I will list the two connection ways and using methods as below:
The first, connecting the Web server converter between user equipment and PC (or other equipments with network interface, such as PLC). Its connection way : connects user equipment and NP3000 converter serial port by serial line, connects PC network port and NP3000 converter network port by network line , then give the converter power supply . Here note, if NP3000 converter connects to PC directly, please use Cross Cable ; if the Web server converter connects to PC via switches, please use Normal Cable . And also please make sure serial communication rates are the same between user equipment and the NP3000 converter.
The second, connecting some Web server converters between user equipment and PC. Its connection way: connects user equipments and converters serial ports by serial lines, connects router or swith network port and converters network ports by network line, then give the converters power supply. Also note, using Normal Cable under the way, and make sure serial communication rates are the same between user equipments and Web server converters.
At last, we supply the converter between TCP/UDP and RS232/485, also has converter between TCP/UDP and parallel port, and RS232/485 to parallel port. Any question, please feel free to contact with us.
