Heat resistant high temperature sleeve protects continuously to 260°C/500°F and will withstand a molten splash at1200°C/2200°F.Made of knitted fiberglass yarns in a flexible substrate,it isthen coated with a high grade silicone rubber.
Resistant to hydraulic fluids,Iubricating oils,and fuels,SliconeSleeve insulates against energy loss in piping and hosing;protects employeesfrom burns;and allows "bunding" of wires,hoses,and cables.

When exposed to flame, the silicone rubbertransforms into a crust, creating a protective SiO2 refractory layer.
