1. Product description
This volerepeller device is one of the new generation of repellers! It generates quartzvibrations in approx. 25 sec intervals within a frequency range of 400 Hz ± 50Hz. Outdoor test showed that these specially generated vibrations have anoptimum effective area of approx. 700 m², depending on condition of soil. Sincerodents cannot stand these quartz vibrations they move to other areas within afew days. Other useful animals are not harmed. The Solar Vole Repellercan be used in the garden, in the field or in other outdoor areas withunwanted rodents. The finely tuned electronic components and the efficient solarmodules guarantee constant function even with poor light. This appliance notonly repels voles, but also moles!
2. Installation and maintenance
Dig thedevice into the ground up to ¾ of the Solar Vole Repeller. Toturn it on, press the button at the bottom of the casing. Your SolarVole Repeller is now ready for operation. Check the function of thedevice regularly. In case it does not work normally any more, a replacement ofthe rechargeable battery might be necessary (see point 3).
3. Replacement of the rechargeablebattery
1. Remove thetransparent housing cover.
2.Carefully take off the solar panel from the rechargeablebattery which is underneath. When doing so, make sure that the cable connectionbetween the solar panel and the circuit board which is underneath therechargeable battery, is left intact and is not damaged.
3. Remove theold rechargeable battery from its fitting.
4. Insert anew rechargeable battery size Mignon (AA) and type Ni-MH with 1.2 V and 850 mA.When doing so, mind the correct polarity as shown on the bottom inside thebattery fitting.
5.Carefully place the solar panel back on the rechargeablebattery.
6. Reattachthe transparent casing cover to the casing body.

5. Attention: Important battery notice
• Instructions for battery disposal:
Batteries aresubject to legal provisions. After use they must therefore be returned to thepoint of sale or to a collecting point of public facilities for harmfulsubstances. Batteries may neverbe disposed as household waste, in the yellow sack or other. Dispose ofbatteries only when completely discharged into a waste batteries collectingcontainer and take precautions against short circuit (e.g. by masking thepoles).
