They are also resistant to most chemicals such as acids and solvents.

To ensure a tight seal between pipette and tips, the Autoclavable Pipettes have O-rings on the tip bases. The rings help getting a good seal even if the tip is out of the optimal shape, minimizing the risk of false air and false results.
