The narrow-bandwidth FBG products can substitute for the TFF in DWDM system,OXC and OADM devices. Moreover, they are widely used in the area of accurate sensing, accurate spectrum detecting and accurate pump laser wavelength locking.

Chirped Fiber Bragg Grating
he grating period of chirped FBG is axial-variable instead of a constant. Because of this, the light with different wavelength will form optical path difference when reflected by chirped FBG. This feature of chirped FBG can be used to realize dispersion compensation of different wavelength signal in remote fiber-optical communication efficiently.
Double-Clad Fiber Bragg Grating
The power and pumping efficiency of the pump laser can be improved a lot when using the double-clad FBG products. This type of FBG also plays an irreplaceable role in the application of high power fiber lasers.

What is Fiber Bragg Grating?
A fiber Bragg grating (FBG) is a type of distributed Bragg reflector constructed in a short segment of optical fiber that reflects particular wavelengths of light and transmits all others. This is achieved by creating a periodic variation in the refractive index of the fiber core, which generates a wavelength specific dielectric mirror. A fiber Bragg grating can therefore be used as an inline optical filter to block certain wavelengths, or as a wavelength-specific reflector.
