Swimming Pool K11 Slurry Cement Based Waterproof Slurry Mortar
K11 Cement-based Permeating Crystalline-type Waterproof Slurry can make concrete resistant to the water forever. Suitable for waterproofing of basement, underground parking, pool, swimming pool, fish pool, sewage treatment pool, subway, tunnel, reservoir dam, harbor such important projects.
Features:
1, Inorganic waterproof mortar. When there are water and active chemical substance permeating into the concrete pores, it produces a chemical action with the free radical and the unhydrated cement particle to form dendritic crystal which is not soluble in water.
2, This crystal combines with the concrete to block out water and other liquid. When there is no water, the active substance is in a dormant state.
3, When the surface and interior of the concrete appears micro cracks , the active substance can hydrate again and produce a new hydrated crystal to block out water. So K11 CCCWS can make the concrete water-resistant.
4, Suitable for waterproofing of basement, underground parking , swimming pool, sewage treatment pool, subway, tunnel, reservoir dam, harbor and other important projects.
Application:
1, Can be the waterproof both for the positive and back sides.
2, Concrete structures waterproofing should adopt appropriate measures when in the open-air environment.
3, For the structure with alternate-deformation cracks, using flexible material to fill the downing crack and deformation crack, instead of PB-K11 CCCWS.
4, Do not operate under 4.
Surface Treatment:
1, The surface should be stable, clean, smooth, no dust, no oil, no shedding, and other detrital materials.
2, The obvious pores and holes must be silted up with the cement mortar, the sharp edges should be wiped out. Recommend to mix PB-03 cement mortar additive when repairing.
3,If the surface is dry, moist the surface with clean water till there is no clear water before operation.
Operation Process:
1, Base surface:
Check the concrete surface whether it has any defect, or the left steel head, organic, oil painting, and other bonding materials. For the crack, using wire brush to make it mainly.
e.g. For the crack above 0.4mm, requiring a 15×20mm U-groove, and clean the surface with wire brush, chisel or high-pressure water gun, never leave any suspended materials.
2, Brushing:
(1), Using semi-rigid nylon brush when brushing the Cement-based permeating crystalline-type waterproofing material.
(2), Brushing back and forth and pay attention to the cave and convex place to ensure the surface is flat with a same thickness.
(3), For the operation on the plane or stage, brushing the material evenly, especially for the front and backlight sides, never make thick deposition and forbid cracks from the thick place.
(4), For the crack over 0.4mm, requiring a groove, then moist it, brushing the material of concentrating slurry, and strengthen it with semi-dry material 1.5h later, then continue brushing the material. It requires to brush two layers, after about 1~2h the first layer finishing, make the second, if the surface dries too quickly in the first layer, moist it before the second time.
Tips:
a, Dealing with the surface according to the requirements, cooling the surface with water slightly to reduce the temperature if under the heat and sun exposure.
b, Using brush to brush the mixed slurry on the surface evenly and make sure it no flaws and vulnerabilities.
c, When finishing the first layer of brushing, brushing the second layer about 2~4 hours later, the direction should be vertical for the two layers.
Normal Amount: 1.2~1.4kg/ Thickness: 1.0~1.2mm
Ratio: powder: additive: water= 25: 3:5~7
Cautions:
1, Do other covers after the waterproof layer totally dry.
2, For a better effect, do not operate under -5 or particularly damp and unventilated situation.
3, Never mix the dry slurry with water for second use.
4, Processing the nodes according to relevant requirements, adding a fiber layer is better.
5, Under special situation, our company can provide operation scheme by our technical department.
Store Method:
Store in cool and dry place, unopened product can be saved for one year.
