The raceways of both the inner and outer rings ofthis bearing type are made with a set contact angle.The bearings arenonseparable.The balls are inserted utilizing a counter-bore construction whichallows a larger number of balls to be installed than in the case of deep-grooveball bearings.
Single-row angular contact ball bearings can sustain radial,axial or moment loads,however, any axial load must be applied in onedirection.Due to their design, angular contact bearings will experience someamount of axial loading from any radial load that is applied.For this reason,they are often used in pairs. We provide the various combinations withreadjusted clearance to simplify assembly.
