While typical PoE switches are designed to deliver power to remote network devices, the multi-port PD-Switch from ONV Networks accepts PoE, acting as an IEEE802.3af compliant Powered Device (PD). With the PD-Switch, operators can now extend the 100 meter range of their copper-based networks an additional 100 meters, without costly and complex electrical rewiring.
