EPC-type transformers are slim type switching power supply in order to adapt the design of a high-frequency transformer. It has a flat-type ferrite cores, its shape can satisfy the requirements of the power transformer high power and slim volume requirements, also can adapt the power switch in temperature requirements, but the PCB will be required increase; EFD transformer than the package online space has increased, while EMI performance and leakage inductance, radiation and other parameters are better than EFD transformer, other properties close to the EE-type and EC-type transformers.
