Panasonic Tough IP 56 14.4-Volt Lithium-Ion Combo Kit (2-Tool)
The Panasonic 14.4V Tough IP56 li-ion combo kit is a member of the Panasonic ToughIP Tool series and has passed the IP standard test administered by the International Electro technical Commission (IEC) receiving an IP56 rating, dust and water resistant. The combo kit consists of EY7441 Drill Driver and EY4542 multipurpose cutter. The drill driver delivers 390in.lbs of full torque at any speed. The drill is ideal for general construction, plumbing, electric installation work and finish carpentry. The multipurpose metal cutter EY4542 cutter rotates at a speed of 3,600 rpm and uses a 5 3/8th C-6 tungsten steel carbide-tipped blade. The multipurpose cutter is ideal for cutting pipe, strut, threaded rod, metal stud, wood and plastic. The 2pc combo kit is powered by Panasonic's high capacity 3.3ah cobalt lithium-ion battery packs. The battery packs deliver high output with low heat generation resulting in twice the lifetime total performance versus previous Ni-cd battery packs. In addition the tools utilize Panasonic's unique GuardION system. The GuardION system monitors each battery cell during battery charging and during tool use to prevent over discharging and overheating of the battery pack thus insuring long life. The kit consists of a drill driver, multipurpose cutter, two 3.3Ah li-ion battery packs, charger, and carry bag.
Drill and driver has a durable motor delivers 390 in.lbs of full torque at any speed in a compact length of 7 5/8 in. and a lightweight 3.75lbs frame, the drill has an 18 stage clutch plus drill position, ½ in. heavy-duty keyless chuck, variable speed, 2-speed gear box, electric brake, and quick-charging system and LED work light
The multipurpose cutter features an adjustable base plate 1/8 in. to 1-13/16 in., a three way dust control system, electric brake, a fully enclosed blade, spindle lock button and LED work light
All tools and batteries included are protected by Panasonic's unique GurardION system
Any Panasonic 14.4V lithium-ion battery will fit into all included tools and are easily charged with the included charger
The blade uses a chipping action rather than an abrasive action resulting in a much quicker cut, with the exceptionally thin blade kerf it cuts clean with no need for de-burring after cutting
The combo kit comes with a charger - EY9L81B and 2 batteries EY9L44B
