DTP (Desktop publishing) can be understood as "DTP-Desktop publishing service" or "desktop typesetting for publication". Originally, it is one link in localization project process. Specifically, it takes the original document as basis and publishes the documents according to the special regulations or requirements of the targeted country/region on words. For example, some words are required to be in horizontal or vertical typesetting according to the order from left to right or from right to left; whether the words are allowed to be in boldface or inclined form like English.
