Waterproof Membrane (PCM)

 

PCM is made from the copolymer resin polymer (HDPE, LDPE, EVA, PVC, the ECB, TPO) homogeneous sheet as the main body of the waterproof layer, with the coating which has creep function rubber asphalt adhesive materials on the layer, and cover polymer self-adhesive waterproofing materials which made of silicone oil anti-sticking isolation membrane, according to the need of polymer composite fabric sheet on strengthening enhanced polymer waterproofing materials.

 

 

Product features


1. Single layer membrane, the double line of defense. PMC membrane is compounded with polymer sheet and self-adhesive membrane, combining two kinds of waterproof material’s advantages. Greatly improving the puncture resistance, weather resistance, self-healing, high and low temperature resistance and other properties. Physical properties are more excellent, chemical performance are more stable
2. Paving in advance and pasting versa technology. Self-adhesive layer and concrete have good adhesive power, solve the basement floor, side wall, tunnel’s waterproof and pasting problems.
3. Lap joint is reliable, it can solve tunnel’s construction problems in winter. PMC membrane’s lap joint not only can self-adhesive but also can be all-welded. Although viscous material is bad when the temperature is very low in the winter, you can adopt all-welded lap way, thus it does not affect the integrity and quality of coiled material waterproof layer. 
4. The construction method are varied. You can choose according to site conditions: wet laid method, wet laid method, hang way, mechanical fixed or other construction method; Construction is flexible and effect is optimal.
5. Good self-healing capability. PCM membrane with rubber resilience and strong self-adhesive, the nails and other sharp objects with good wrapped function, the membrane can heal itself after puncture by nails or sands when construction. Especially suitable for planting roof.


6. Super "water lock" function. The power of the PCM membrane and the base plane is strong, the leakage caused by membrane’s breakage can be limited in the local scope, avoid causing membrane failure as a whole.
7. The requirements of the base plane is low, convenient and quick. PCM membrane’s construction is not affected by the flatness of base plane, no need to do the leveling layer, also can construction on damp base surface. It is not affected by the weather and it can greatly shorten the construction period, saving the cost
8. Safety and environmental protection. PCM membrane and supporting products do not contain organic solvents, use flame homework phenomenon does not exist in the construction site, the whole construction process to eliminate the potential hazard to the environment, also save the energy.

Construction technology process


PCM polymer composite adhesive membrane construction technology has the following several kinds of methods:
Dry laid method:
Base plane treatment→Brushing treatment agent at the base plane →Node details treatment (attached layer)→Laid PCM membrane→half header treatment→The waterproof layer inspection→protective layer’s construction(Due to the site condition is complex, this process is not recommended)
Wet laid method:
Base plane treatment→Scraping coat and preparation polymer cement slurry (sand) →Node details treatment (attached layer) →Laid PCM membrane→half header treatment →The waterproof layer inspection→protective layer’s construction
Paving in advance and versa pasting method:
Base plane treatment→Node details treatment (attached layer)→Reference plane elasticity positioning→Laid PCM membrane →Remove the isolation membrane→ pouring concrete

 

Hang and versa pasting method(Commonly used in tunnel construction):
To install, drilling and hang the door→Ready the membrane→Hang and fixed the membrane→Construction the next piece membrane→Membrane and membrane welding→Pasting double-sided self-adhesive sealing strip→Remove isolating membrane from membrane’s surface→ Acceptance checks
Mechanical fixed method
Clean up base plane→Ready the membrane→Shoot nails to fix the membrane→Sealing the nails’ part→Paste and lap the membrane’s long and short side →The node enhance processing→Acceptance checks

Attention
1. Base plane treatment: Base surface should be smooth, hard, no dust, no pollution, no loose objects, the base plane should be dry when using wet laid method, wet laid method require the base plane should be smooth, no leakage, no water.
2. Brushing treatment agent when laid membrane, treatment agent should stir to mix well, pasting membrane after brushing uniform and dry, other process does not need base plane treatment agent.
3. Node details treatment: pipe parts should do sealing first, then pasting attached layer. Corner positions such as internal and external corner, elevation angle, expansion joint, construction joint and other parts of pasting additional layer. Horizontal and vertical width general ≥250 mm.
4. Pasting PCM membrane
4.1 Make sure the membrane’s pasting sequence and direction, play a line on base plane, then paste the membrane:
Unfolded paste method: cut the membrane in appropriate shape, paste it in opposite way on base plane and shuck off all membrane’s isolation paper, paste membrane’s one end at a predetermined position, pasting forward along the datum line, then used compression roller to roll on both sides , forward,so that make it stick firmly.
Roll paste method: shuck off all membrane’s isolation paper and paste membrane at the same time, carry the membrane to predetermined position,aim at datum line,shuck off membrane’s undersurface isolation paper, One end of membrane is fixed, Unfold the membrane about 500mm, then push membrane and used compression roller to roll on both sides , forward at the same time, In order to ensure that the initial bonding strength.
4.2 Lap joint treatment: it can be used lapping, abutting joint and welding according to different materials. Lap width is long side 65 mm and short side 80 mm. Using automatic crawl machine hot air welding lap width is 60 mm; Using 120 mm wide double-sided self-adhesive sealant to enhance processing when parallel butt joint, then make it become compaction with roller. Ensure sticking firmly between waterproofing materials,not only can use versa pasting method but also can use Mechanical fixed method.
4.3 Repair: it should be repaired when damage, pasting broken place directly. Repair materials is greater than broken edges 100 mm and compaction, sealing.


4.4 Half header treatment
No matter half header in level way or in vertical way, it should be adopted matching sealing glue to seal.
Construction on protective layer: Surface protection adopt cement mortar or other lump materials, construction should be paid attention to protect the waterproof layer. The facade adopts polystyrene board or masonry protection.
4.5 Don’t put the membranes on base plane which has pollution, water and ice. It is recommended to use double-sided or aluminum foil membrane on the parts of the protective layer needs to be done. It should do the waterproof layer at the end of last procedure, it can’t cross construction. If you want to install equipment in the paved membrane, it should be taken to make additional layer of protection measures such as padded block.
