This is a brand new Pico Hydro Generator System.
Hydro power system comes complete with the Charge Controller and Dump Resistor to keep the votlage steady, it can be 120 V, 60 Hz or 230V 60Hz.
With single phase.AC output.
This is a very cost effective unit. If you try to build your own, you need to buy a generator, turgo wheel, voltage regulator and dump resistor, variable nozzle, and then build a box.
The output power is 300 watts continuous. Adjustable valve for setting the output power.
It is designed for 4-20 meter head (height). That is 13 to 65 foot water height. The recommended a minimum water flow is 3-5 liters per second, which is 50-80 gallons per minute. For full power, you will need 14 meters (42 feet).
The bottom view shows the 5.6 inch (144 mm) diameter Turgo Wheel, adjustable Nozzle, and Resistor in the water stream which is used to control the output voltage.
The generator is a Permanent Magnet type with very little cogging torque. The inlet pipe is 2 inch (50 mm). Comes with a hose clamp to attach a flexible hose, or attach a threaded pipe.
